Established in the mid-1960s, Marty's Electric Co. was formed by Marty Doherty to supply electrical services for residential customers in Worcester county. The company relocated to Westboro in the early 1980s and added commercial & industrial services for businesses in the surrounding communities. In 2002, Marty's son, Steven, rejoined, and by mid-decade, the company was focusing on the burgeoning residential remodeling sector. Steve completed the necessary courses, took the state test, and obtained his Master Electrician license in 2006. Although Marty passed away in May 2007, his memory and the company he started live on.

To this day, Steve continues his dad's commitment to quality service & workmanship at a fair price. Steve will be involved in all aspects of your project, from your initial consultation, through the design/quote stage to the completion of the work. "I enjoy helping my customers realize their vision," says Steve. And that vision can be anything from lighting & electrical for a new kitchen or bathroom to a generator interconnection for ensuring power is available during power outages or the hanging of a new dining room chandelier.
